The Future is Fuzzy
This is one from my garden. After all that concrete, I need to see some green.

Beautiful shades of green, with nice variation. Good detail, too.
Philosophical Karen: Thanks! I was surprised at how well it turned out.
Great DOF. Lovely greens.
Philosophical Karen: Thank you, Florence.
Beautiful flower with crisp detail. The green is so refreshing and uplifting. (:o)
Philosophical Karen: That's how I felt when I saw it. Thanks, Rosalyn.
From concrete to all green
Philosophical Karen: Yes, I for one really needed to see this after all that concrete.
As Florence wrote: great dof and lovely green.
Philosophical Karen: Thank you, Frank.
One of the best flower shots I have seen lately,
KUDOS on such an awesome shot Suby
Philosophical Karen: Thanks for the high praise, Suby.
This is fabulous, Karen! The detail is sharp and crisp. Do I guess correctly that this IS the color it is before it turns into whatever color it'll become? I know that often buds are all green before they open up into the flower they're becoming. (That might make a good sermonette!)
Philosophical Karen: Yes, the state of this particular bud just now is that the tight-packed interior has unfolded and the outer petals are starting to turn pink. If it turns into a nice flower, maybe I'll take a photograph and post it, just to show the result.
I love this shot Karen. As others have said, the detail is so sharp and crisp it is amazing. I feel like it is one of those photos you could just sit and stare at for hours. The greens are amazing. Simply terrific!
Philosophical Karen: The photo turned out even better than I imagined it would. Thanks, Julia, I'm glad you stopped by.
It's so good to plunge into green! Thanks for this nice shot. Regards, Laurence
Philosophical Karen: Thanks, Laurence. I do find the green refreshing after all that concrete in my previous photos.
Great detail in the Rhapsody in Green.
Philosophical Karen: I like your alternative title.
Green dancer
Love this shot - To my likeys !! Have a nice week !!
Philosophical Karen: Thanks, Zebi! I like your description ("green dancer").
Very nice indeed, lovely detail and definition and also very umm, green. I like it
Philosophical Karen: Yes, I needed to see some green, and this shot definitely fits the bill.
Excellent macro shot. All the best, Dave.
Philosophical Karen: Thanks, Dave!
beautiful.....the core of this one is precious
This is brilliant!
The colour, the focus, the DOF. Straight to my likeys.
This is really nice, Karen. There's something almost artichokey about it.
Philosophical Karen: Hmm, I see what you mean. And I like the word "artichokey".
